It has finally arrived. The start of the 62nd MFLM season begins today with the welsome returm of the North Winnipeg Nomads hosting the Falcon Football Club. Action to take place at Nomad Field. Kick off is 3:00 PM.

Change is good ! For the first time in the 62 years of the Midget Football League of Manitoba, the MFLM will be changing to 9 player format. With the field remaining regulation size, it promises to be a wide open and fast brand of Football!

The Midget Football League of Manitoba is proud to announce that Midget Bowl VII, the league's annual post-season all-star showcase, will take place the afternoon of Sunday, November 9th (1:00pm) at East Side Eagles Field.
Practices are scheduled at the Fort Garry Lions facility (1377 Clarence Ave.) on these dates:
Wednesday, November 5th (6:30pm-9:00pm)
Thursday, November 6th (6:30pm-9:00pm)
Friday, November 7th (6:30pm-8:30pm)
Following Wednesday's practice, players will be divided into two squads- Team Silver and Team Green. Teams will be coached by members of the Midget Football League of Manitoba and Winnipeg Rifles coaching staffs.
Players are required to supply full equipment for practices and games, including game pants and socks. Game jerseys are owned by the MFLM and will be loaned to the players on gameday. Players are expected to be in attendance for each practice, and if a player is unable to attend he must notify his club's head coach. If a player is absent for the first practice and has not informed his coach or This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it., that player will be assumed to have declined his invitation, and his roster spot will be given away to another player.
Barring a major snowstorm or extreme cold, event activities will not be canceled or postponed. Please visit this website (www.midgetfootball.ca) daily for status updates. Players should arrive 15 to 20 minutes early for each practice, and dress for the weather. Players are encouraged to bring their own water bottles. Locker room facilities will be provided, and athletic therapists will be present at all practices and the game.
Game tickets will be $5.00 at the gate on game day, and children 12-and-under will be admitted free. Game highlights will be videotaped for the league's YouTube channel.
Players: East Side's clubhouse locker room(s) open at 10:00am. Please arrive at East Side no later than 10:15am. Jerseys will be handed out between 10:15-10:30am. Players must be ready to take the field at 10:30am. Kickoff is at 1:00pm.

Parking: Enter off of London Street. Parking is behind Kildonan East Collegiate.
Game Admission: $5.00, children 12-and-under are free. Gate opens at 12:00pm. 50/50 will support the Midget Football League of Manitoba.
