MFLM Sponsorship
The Midget Football League of Manitoba (MFLM) utilizes sponsorship revenue to offset league operating costs. Yearly expenses include Officials (referees) fees, player recognition awards (championship game & all-star trophies), and website hosting. With additional sponsorship funds, the MFLM is able to keep football affordable and fun for all.
The 2009 season saw the introduction of four sponsored Player of the Month recognition awards, and in 2010 the MFLM created additional sponsorship opportunities for:
- Offensive Lineman of the Month
- Defensive Lineman of the Month
- Championship Game & MVPs (Naming Rights)
By supporting the Midget Football League of Manitoba, each of our Player of the Month sponsors is provided with:
- Inclusion of company name and/or logo on each Award recipient’s trophy/plaque
- Prominent logo display on the front page of the MFLM’s website with accompanying hyperlink to the sponsor's website
- Acknowledgment in the MFLM’s 2-page advertisement in Football Manitoba’s ‘Championship Weekend’ printed program
- Advertisement in the printed Game Program for the Midget Bowl (the MFLM’s post-season All-star game held in November)
- Press Releases sent from the MFLM to the Winnipeg Free Press and the Winnipeg Sun announcing each month’s Award recipient, also published on the MFLM’s website
- Ticket to the MFLM’s annual post-season Awards Banquet for the Awards Presentation and a photo opportunity with the recipients
- Opportunity to provide any reasonable gifts or advertising materials (T-shirts, coffee mugs, gift cards/coupons, etc.) to the recipients
- Wall plaque in appreciation from the MFLM to be displayed at the sponsor's place of work
